Miniwell L630 uses 0.1 micron ultra-filtration membrane (medical grade material) as filter media, which is effective against 99.99999% of suspended bacteria in water.

Filter life can be extended by backwashing
The reflux can rinse the impurities that the membrane has filtered out of the water. We put a silicone gasket around the mouthpiece. A convenient bottle can be covered on the gasket for leak-free reflux. You no longer need to keep a syringe on the go.
Backwash:
1) When the flow slows down, the Miniwell water filter can be rinsed easily. Please use clean water only when rinsing.
2) Before storing the Miniwell water filter, rinse it again with clean water, then soak it in a mild vinegar solution to disinfect the filter.
3) After cleaning, allow the filter to air dry and store it in a cool, dry place.
4) Shelf life: 5 years. After initial soaking: 3 years.

• Q: How often should I backwash the system?
• A: It depends on how clean or dirty the source water is. When you feel the flow slowing down, backwashing can improve the flow. (Note: To extend the life of the filter, always use the best fresh water source you can access. If the raw water is cloudy, wait for the sediment to settle until the water appears clear, then filter the water above the sediment.)
• Q: Can I use filtered water from the system itself to backwash the filter?
• A: Yes. The filtered water from the filter can be used for backwashing. Collect the filtered water by a clean disposable bottle. Squeeze clean water into the filter from the filter outlet.
• Q: How do I know when it is time to replace the filter?
• A: The filter will not allow water to flow when it blocks the filtration pores. If the water flow slows down or there is no water flowing through the filter, it is time to replace your filter.
• Q: Does this work on E.coli and parasites like Giardia and Cryptosporidium?
• A: Yes. Miniwell L630 is able to filter 99.9% of bacteria and parasites.
• Q: Can this filter remove unpleasant taste in raw water?
