-Turn the filter tip with built-in carbon fiber filter counterclockwise and pull it upwards

1. Unscrew the water inlet from the filter body. Replace the PP pre-filter mesh.

2. Lightly push the UF hollow fiber filter from below until it can be removed. Set aside the round spacer.

FAQ 1. How often should I change my filter? How do I know when it is time to change the filter? It depends on the quality of the water you are filtering. The more contaminated the water, The shorter the filter life, Miniwell suggests choosing renewable soft water as your water source. Do not choose human and industrial wastewater as a water source. If used continuously for 12 months, The carbon fiber filter may become less effective at absorbing taste, odors and heavy metals. Miniwell suggests replacing the carbon fiber filter after 12 months. The UF filter will not allow water to flow through when it reaches capacity. If you notice that the water flow slows down or water cannot exit the filter, rinse or change the UF filter. 2. How often should I clean and maintain the filter? Miniwell suggests cleaning the filter with clean water after each use. Before storing the filter, disassemble the components. Use clean water to wash the parts and soak them in vinegar as a disinfectant. After cleaning, Allow parts to air dry and then reassemble. Store the filter in a cool, dry place. (Note: Do not use vinegar on the carbon fiber filter as it will shorten the life of the carbon fiber filter) 3. Does it filter salt water? No. Miniwell L600 filtration pore size on the membrane is 0.05 microns. The dissolved salt passes through a 0.05 micron membrane.
